jobordo manual
Use this guide for setup, daily field use, billing, and support. jobordo is designed to keep jobs, time, expenses, photos, quotes, invoices, and customer notes together for the office and the crew.
Install on iPhone or Android
- Open https://jobordo.com/app.html in Safari on iPhone or Chrome on Android.
- On iPhone, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. Confirm the name as jobordo.
- On Android, open the browser menu and choose Install app or Add to Home screen.
- If a stale page appears after an update, open https://jobordo.com/app.html?reload=latest, then refresh once.
The home-screen shortcut should open app.html so the app loads directly instead of the marketing page.
Offline PIN and sync
- After the first online login, set a four-digit PIN for that device.
- When the phone has no signal, the PIN unlocks the last synced jobs, tasks, time, photos, and expenses.
- Field data is saved locally and syncs when service returns.
- Translation and text review are online services. If the network is down, job data still saves and the online work can retry later.
Jobs, crews, and scheduling
- Create a job with customer, site, schedule, status, billing style, labor rate, fixed price, and preferred customer language.
- Use job dates to see scheduled work and crew availability.
- Clock in and out from the job so time stays attached to the correct customer and work.
- Use Time & expenses for My time, Crew time, Scheduler, My expenses, and Company expenses.
- Export time by date range to CSV for Excel review.
Customers and follow-up
- Keep customer phone, email, address, call notes, outcomes, and follow-up dates in one place.
- Use customer call logs for quote follow-up and missed-call notes.
- Customers stay available even when old jobs are archived.
Quotes, invoices, tax, and payment QR codes
- Create quotes for follow-up or invoices from the job data already collected.
- Use hourly, fixed price, or quote-first billing.
- Select labor, material, equipment, or other tax options when building an invoice.
- Upload payment QR codes such as PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, or another method to print on invoices.
- Preview invoices in the app, close the preview with X, and use Print / Save PDF from the device.
Language and text review
- Switch the app between English and Spanish from the menu.
- Customer-facing invoice language can be selected separately for the customer or invoice.
- Use Text review & translation to review rough English or Spanish text, then translate when connected.
- The original text and translated text are stored separately when available, so both office and field users can read what they need.
Subscription billing
- jobordo starts with a no credit card trial.
- When the trial is near its end, owners can subscribe through Stripe-hosted checkout.
- Manage cards, billing details, and subscription changes through the Stripe customer portal.
Support
Use the Support screen in jobordo to create a ticket. It includes your account and current screen details so Good Elf can troubleshoot faster.
